But how do we match urban growth with the climate issues we are confronted with today? The answer: sustainable green building. There has been an urgent call for sustainable building solutions in cities for quite some time now. As a reaction to the current climate problems, the urban building industry focused on better-insulated buildings, green roofs, and new quality and low-energy labels. However, it took until the first decade of the 21st century for the general public to really grasp the concept of sustainability. At Reynaers Aluminium, we realise there is a need for a more futureproof solution.
